Most of you probably know how it all started—but just in case, here’s a little recap of our love story…

It all began on August 14, 2021, back when we both lived in Virginia—the bride in Alexandria and the groom in Arlington.

It was a beautiful summer night, and I decided to go out with my friend Taiara to the bars in Clarendon (Arlington) for some fun. We ended up at Don Tito—a favorite hangout spot for the groom, though I didn’t know that yet.

While I was enjoying the night with Taiara, I noticed a guy at the bar who kept looking my way. Yep, that was Michael. A few drinks later, just as I was about to leave, he made his move. We started talking, hit it off right away, and spent the rest of the evening getting to know each other.

A week later, we had our first official date—and from there, everything just flowed naturally. Our connection was easy, our bond grew stronger, and love quickly followed.

We’ve shared so many unforgettable memories and adventures since then. In July of 2023, we took a big step and moved in together in New York. It felt like the right decision, and we didn’t hesitate for a second.

Then, on July 21, 2024, Michael proposed in Central Park—completely surprising me (yes, even though I didn’t have my nails done!). It was such a special moment, made even more meaningful by the surprise appearance of our homies, who were there to witness it and capture the memory.

Now, we’re preparing for one of the biggest steps of our lives—becoming husband and wife. We couldn’t be more excited to celebrate this next chapter surrounded by our family, friends, and so much love.
